Furthermore, we are committed to following best practice guidelines to contain the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, we are offering teletherapy as an option to persons who are social distancing.

What Is Teletherapy?

Teletherapy is like traditional mental health counseling, the exception is that your counseling services will be delivered through live video. It is sometimes referred to as online counseling, virtual therapy, or telehealth. Research shows that teletherapy is just as effective as meeting with a therapist in office for face-to-face sessions.

Yes, our services are offered via a secure HIPAA-compliant platform. Teletherapy affords you the opportunity to obtain the support of a therapist in the comfort of your home, or in a location that is most convenient for you.

How Does Teletherapy Work?

Your therapist will connect with you through a secure two-way live video platform; you will be able interact with your therapist in the same manner you would if you were in an in-person session. Our aim is to make the sessions as interactive as possible, therefore your therapist will use creative approaches to keep you engage.

What will I need to do teletherapy?

For you to engage in teletherapy sessions you will need a strong internet connection and computer or tablet with a microphone and camera capabilities. You may also use a smartphone if you so choose for your session.
